Ohio Couple and Grandmother arrested after doing inhuman act with their infant.

Two individuals in hiding have been detained after their children were discovered in terrible living conditions in Ohio. The Hocking County Sheriff's Office confirmed. Franklin "TJ" Varney and Megan Smith were wanted after the deputies discovered their children in horrible conditions when performing an arrest warrant at their residence on Sunday on the 18th of September. [caption id="attachment_41562" align="alignnone" width="800"] Ohio couple and grandmother Arrested[/caption] "On the 18th of September, on a Sunday, Hocking County Sheriff's Office Detectives, assisted by members with Logan-Hocking Special Response Team Logan-Hocking Special Response Team, conducted a search warrant at the residence of Bear Run Road, in connection to an investigation of sexual assault," Hocking County Sheriff's Office announced in a post on Facebook. "When the law enforcement officers went into the house that was in a deplorable state, they discovered three-year-old children trapped in an enclosure that was secured using zipties. The cage the child was kept in was stuffed with bugs, filthy bedding as well as a cup of milk that had been spoiled. The two-year-old was also observed wandering around the home with the methamphetamine pipe."

The parents' fled

According to the WSBTV The parents, fled with their children and then escaped the house due to their involvement in the investigation into sexual assault. The grandmother of the children was arrested and placed in custody. She is said to be the one who has charge of their children. The children were placed in emergency custody, with the help by South Central Ohio Job And Family Services. They have been placed in foster care for emergency purposes. "The mother, Ella Webb, 61 of Logan was detained and accused of Endangering Children in the 3rd degree felony. The grandmother was transported into the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office Jail for arraignment at Hocking County Municipal Court," Hocking County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page read. "Additionally 3rd Degree Felony charges for endangering Children were brought against parents Franklin "TJ" Varney, 38, of Logan along with Megan Smith, 25 of Logan. A nationwide arrest warrant was requested through the courts." The post also stated "Hocking County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputies Caleb J. Moritz said, "I very, very strongly urge the accused Mr. Varney and Ms. Smith to immediately surrender before law enforcement. If they decide to elude away from their responsibility such as they did last night and did, they will be held accountable by the Hocking County Sheriff's Office will relentlessly use every state, local and Federal resource that is available in order to bring these two people before the law."
