OnePlus outperforms Google with 4 years of major OS updates

OnePlus has extended its smartphone update guarantee by a year. The company now provides four years of major operating system updates and five years of security updates. This plan is similar to Samsung's, except that Samsung provides monthly security updates while OnePlus does not. Google comes in third place, with just three years of OS updates. Google wins this battle because it is the only Android company providing an iOS-like update experience from the start. There's also the issue of update timing to accept, with Samsung taking two - and - half months to unveil its latest product line, the Note 7. The OnePlus 11, which is expected to be released in the coming months, will most likely be the first phone to receive this treatment. One month is insufficient time to make significant changes, so determining the real Android design approach is difficult.
