Police could only use the word "tragedy" to describe the deaths of three family members who engaged in a murder-suicide-pact. Additionally, Det. Timothy Fink of the West Manchester Township Police Department said, "The only word that keeps coming to my mind is tragedy."

Details about the tragic incident

According to a police statement, on January 25, officers were called to the residence of James Daub, age 62, his wife Deborah, age 59, and their daughter Morgan, age 26. Upon arrival, they found their bodies lying on the ground in their backyard. Furthermore, James and Deborah both died as a result of head injuries sustained from gunshots. According to the York County Coroner's Office, they both died just before Morgan committed suicide. Therefore, Morgan's death was recorded as a suicide, whereas James and Deborah's deaths were deemed to be homicides.
