Paul Rudd is right there with any viewers who have ever questioned why he was part of Friends' finale. The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor talked about his experience as Mike Hannigan, Phoebe's (Lisa Kudrow) husband, in the show's penultimate season. On the Heart breakfast radio program, the 53-year-old actor admitted, "It was really fun, and they were great! The whole thing was a bit surreal, I must say. I never knew that I was going to be in as many [episodes] as I was. But it also felt strange." Additionally, Rudd discussed how he felt "strange" when he joined the show for its final episode because he did so near the end after the cast and crew had already worked together for eight seasons. He claimed that as his co-stars became upset at the conclusion of the series, he thought it would have been better if he had taken a backseat. And I just thought, 'I shouldn't be here… I'm getting, like, a front-row seat to things I'm not supposed to see," Rudd remembered. "They were all crying. It was all emotional. I was just like, Whoa." "I felt very privileged, but I also was like, I just don't want to sit back here and get in the way," he continued. Lastly, the third season of Only Murders in the Building is presently in production. In addition, Hulu offers the first and second seasons for streaming, while HBO Max offers Friends in full.
