Popular Apple Analyst Suggests Launch of New iPad Mini In 2023

Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst, has new information on a future Apple product, which is expected to be the new iPad mini. Apple is rumored to be planning to release one next year. According to Kuo's latest tweet, Apple is developing a new iPad Mini with a new processor, which could be its main selling point. While there is no word on which chipset will be used in the upcoming iPad mini, it could be either the next-generation A-series or its M-series chip. If the latter option is pursued, the new iPad mini will join the already expensive iPad Air and iPad Pro models, which are equipped with the M1 and M2 chips, respectively. Kuo also stated that Apple is unlikely to replace the iPad Mini with a foldable iPad in 2025 because a foldable iPad will be more expensive than an iPad mini, making the replacement unreasonable. According to rumors, Apple may release a foldable iPad in 2025.

The sixth generation iPad Mini has received a significant makeover. It features an edge-to-edge display without a Home button, 5G support, Touch ID on the power button, an A15 Bionic chip, and USB Type-C connectivity. Because the iPad Mini is traditionally announced in September, we can expect the next generation iPad Mini to be released in September 2023. Apple has already raised the price of the sixth generation iPad Mini, so the upcoming device may be priced similarly.
