Few entry-level smartwatches can compete with the experience provided by the most recent Apple Watch SE, which is currently available for $219 ($30 off) at Amazon and Best Buy in the 40mm configuration with GPS, matching its all-time low price.
The majority of watchOS 9 features, like medicine reminders and Apple’s convenient low-power mode, are supported by Apple’s second-generation wearable. It also works with the newer Apple Watch, which has features like Crash Detection, Apple Pay, and heart-rate monitoring. If you can live without a SpO2 sensor and features like cycle tracks, you can purchase the 2022 Apple Watch SE for more than $100 less than the starting price of Apple’s newest flagship model. However, you don’t get an always-on display and some of the more sophisticated sensors that can be found on the Apple Watch Series 8.
The new SE for 2022 incorporates several features from the Series 8, such as the same chipset and the Crash Detection function, although it generally represents a little improvement over the SE from the previous generation.
