The majority of watchOS 9 features, like medicine reminders and Apple’s convenient low-power mode, are supported by Apple’s second-generation wearable. It also works with the newer Apple Watch, which has features like Crash Detection, Apple Pay, and heart-rate monitoring. If you can live without a SpO2 sensor and features like cycle tracks, you can purchase the 2022 Apple Watch SE for more than $100 less than the starting price of Apple’s newest flagship model. However, you don’t get an always-on display and some of the more sophisticated sensors that can be found on the Apple Watch Series 8.
