Photo Credit: Amazon.com Today, Amazon is offering discounts of up to 39% on its Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 10 tablets. Only reconditioned models are eligible for the discount, however, most models cost less than US$85. Check out Amazon's deal on Certified Refurbished Amazon Fire HD 10 and Fire HD 8 tablets right now if you're looking for an inexpensive tablet (or perhaps one for your kids). The 10.1-inch 1920x1200 IPS screen of the Fire HD 10 (2021) is made of glass. The Mediatek MT8183 P60T SoC, which has four ARM Coretx-A73 cores running at 2.0 GHz and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores, powers the device (2.0 GHz). The Mali-G72 MP3 GPU is in charge of graphics. The units that are for sale come with 32 GB of expandable storage and 3 GB of RAM. It's Fire OS 7, an Amazon-specific variation of Android 9.0 Pie, in this instance. There are four colors for the tablet: black, denim, lavender, and olive. It is currently 39% cheaper to buy at the current sale price of US$81.99. An 8-inch, 1280x800 IPS display is available on the Fire HD 8 2020. The Mediatek MT8168 processor, which has a Mali-G52 MP1 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage, powers the device. Moreover, microSD cards are supported. This tablet uses the same version of Fire OS 7 as its bigger sibling. There will be a 32 GB version. Moreover available today is the Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). The Fire HD 8 (2020) has the same display, CPU, and GPU as the upgraded version, but it also has some additional "nice-to-haves" like wireless charging and an additional gig of Memory for a total of 3 GB. The Fire HD 8 Plus 64 GB model is on sale for $94.99, a 27% discount. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) Review | PCMag Photo Credit: PCMag Remember that all of these products are Amazon Certified Refurbished, which means that Amazon has restored or upgraded the item to "like new" condition and provides the same limited guarantee that a brand-new product would. As long as you don't mind using Amazon's Fire OS, none of the Fire HD tablets will astound you with their performance, but they are all excellent streaming tablets (although there are ways to circumvent the OS and load the Google Play Store onto the tablets). These would make good children's tablets or a cheap media player.
