Review of the 2023 Hyundai Palisade: Luxury on a Budget

Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy 2023 The Palisade Calligraphy is among the best in its class thanks to its high-end style and deluxe amenities. The Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy is proof that luxury doesn't have to break the bank. The top-trim Hyundai is considerably less expensive than comparable models from luxury brands while yet offering upmarket features, premium styling, and cutting-edge technology. Hyundai redesigned its most opulent SUV for 2023 with a new external style and extra standard equipment. A bigger touchscreen and Highway Driving Support 2, which features automatic lane changes, are now available to buyers. The Palisade Calligraphy is made much more enticing by all of these improvements. DESIGN Hyundai did away with the Palisade's more compact family fascia and went large. The top-tier Calligraphy model now has a massive cascading grille that cascades down from the headlights all the way to the base of the bumper. High-end black Nappa leather seats and black accents on the dash and door panels are surrounded by high-quality aluminum embellishments. Although there is some hard-touch plastic lower on this Calligraphy model, everything that is immediately accessible feels appropriately upscale. COMFORT The Hyundai Palisade is so incredibly comfortable that it's like a cheat code for lengthy rides. The heating, ventilation, power adjustment with memory, and smart posture adjustment feature of the Nappa leather front buckets helped to straighten my back when I became too slouchy. The steering is highly assisted, making it feel pleasant about town but shaky in tighter turns, and there is a lot of body roll, so don't go tossing the Palisade into corners too eagerly. SAFETY Automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assistance, and adaptive cruise control with Hyundai's Highway Driving Assist are all standard safety equipment on every Palisade (HDA). That implies that the vehicle will moderately steer and automatically accelerate and brake according to the flow of traffic, but HDA will still be in control. Despite the addition of automatic lane-change assistance, a better distance indicator, and even neighboring traffic sensors that prevent you from driving too closely to the car in front of you, HDA2 is still entirely manual. This is not a Hyundai; rather, high-end vehicles often have advanced safety technology like this. PRICE One of the most economical three-rows in the class, the standard Palisade costs only $36,885, to begin with (including the $1,335 destination charge). But if you really want to splash out, the Calligraphy model will run you at least $50,835. There are only two options: all-wheel drive, which costs an additional $1,900, and everything else, which is included as standard.
