The Samsung Galaxy S24 portfolio might be reduced to just two models, the base S24 and the S24 Ultra, omitting the "Plus" model. In response to the Apple iPhone 14 Plus's underwhelming sales, Samsung is reportedly going to drop a comparable model in favour of its upcoming flagship. According to a recent report, Samsung is reportedly considering to discontinue the Galaxy S24 Plus, according to South Korean news outlet The Elec. The S24 and the S24 Ultra would likely be the only two products in the forthcoming flagship line. These two are allegedly the entry-level S24 and the more expensive S24 Ultra. However, it appears that the South Korean tech company gave up on the DM2 project, which is thought to have become the S24 Plus or S24+. Also Read: Why Not To Buy The Galaxy S22 Ultra? The Elec estimates that Samsung will only be releasing two products for its S24 series at this time. It's possible that this isn't finalised yet. As the launch of its future flagship series approaches, Samsung may "re-introduce" the DM2, according to a news report. Therefore, it may still be a few months before the next-generation device is ready for manufacturing. The market may yet experience some big changes during that time, which could cause Samsung to reevaluate its future intentions. It might be solely based on how well the brand-new Galaxy S23 Plus sells. iPhone 14 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus Sales Notebook The sales of the Galaxy S22 Plus and iPhone 14 Plus, according to Check's report, demonstrate that customers are not overly enthusiastic about Plus-sized gadgets. Only 5.5 million S22 Plus units were reportedly sold by Samsung, or 17% of all sales. The Ultra and ordinary S22, on the other hand, each received 45% and 38% of total sales, respectively.
