There has been a point in all of our lives where technology got the best of us and had us teetering on the edge of insanity. Or there might have been a situation where you had to walk your parents or siblings through a task on a computer. And surely, you must have encountered a professional scenario where you had to guide an intern through a series of frustrating steps. Whether this has happened once or multiple times, there is no escaping from it. However, there is a solution that might help you get through these challenging moments, and all you need is a tool called Scribe. Scribe observes you complete a task on your computer, then automatically creates a visual step-by-step guide to that task that can be shared with others. You can add Scribe to your Chrome Extension, which features text prompts, screenshots, and annotations as well that indicate where someone needs to click. Everything that you once had to do manually can now be done with a simple click.  Also Read: Logitech solves most of Work-From-Home Issues Although Scribe is usually for teams and enterprises, their free plan is quite indulgent. It allows you to record, edit, and share any guide on the web freely. You just need to create an account before getting started and give the browser permission to record your screen. Once you are done, click the Scribe icon from the extension bar in your browser, and click the red Record button from the floating bar. After finishing, you can click the Complete Recording button from the control bat to stop recording.  By clicking the Complete Recording button, the guide will open in a new tab, with a ready-to-go title, screenshots, and steps. Now you can edit the recording according to your preference, along with a new title and description. In addition, you can also add more steps by throwing in your own images. Once you are satisfied with the final result, click the Copy Link button and share the guide with anyone who requires it.  However, Scribe’s free plan only lets you record steps in your browser. So, if you want to record any app from your computer or your smartphone, you will need to upgrade to the Pro plan.
