Google announced a long-awaited redesign of its Google Home app in October 2022. It has a Material You design, improved controls for smart appliances, and enhanced camera feed functionality. The company promised to provide a preview program for this new Home release and to solicit early feedback from users to iron out any issues. This preview program is now live, and you can sign up for a chance to participate through the Google Home app's settings. You may have been introduced to the Public Preview program if you upgraded your Google Home app to the most recent version. To participate, go to the Home app's settings and select the 'Public Preview' section. If you are not yet on the new version, it may take several days or even weeks before you see the preview experience.
