Skype from Microsoft creates native support for Apple Silicon Macs

In order to fully utilize the M1 and M2 CPUs, Microsoft revealed that they are now working on an upgraded version of Skype just for Apple Silicon Macs. The program will function up to three times more quickly as a result. Apple switched from Macs with Intel processors to those with its own Apple Silicon chips three years ago. The M1 and M2 processors have not yet been integrated into all applications, yet. But according to a Skype release, Microsoft is working on a new upgrade that will provide an improved version of the application. However, the platform lost some of its appeals, particularly once rival companies began to offer similar services as Skype. This includes the use of Zoom Meetings, as well as the integration of video conversations with other messaging services and social media platforms, such as Facebook Messenger, Apple FaceTime, and others.
