Source: Alec Baldwin "seemed chill" with wife Hilaria Baldwin as he attended a poker night hours after criminal charges

Alec Baldwin attended a poker night at the exclusive New York City club Zero Bond hours after being charged with a crime, a source told PEOPLE. As he and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, entered the upscale establishment in Manhattan's NoHo area, the insider claimed, "Alec seemed chill and low-key," adding that "They didn't engage with anyone but headed straight to where everyone plays poker." According to the source, only poker players are permitted in the section at the back of the private members' club. The insider said, "After spending around 30 to 40 minutes in the back poker area, Alec and Hilaria came back out and sat in the lounge," adding that the two "chatted away" there. On another note, according to Zero Bond's website, they have a "rigorous process in regards to member selection" that only accepts people who "display a high level of integrity" and can make a positive contribution to the private community. In addition, a potential member must pay an initiation fee and an annual fee that varies by age after submitting a formal application and being accepted into the club. Alec Baldwin's visit to the private club comes after he and Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed were legally accused for their roles in the on-set death of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on October 21, 2021. Additionally, Baldwin and 25-year-old Gutierrez-Reed face two counts of involuntary manslaughter. Moreover, Hutchins was killed when a fake gun that was loaded with live ammunition, held by Baldwin, was discharged. Baldwin claimed in his initial interview after the incident that he "didn't pull the trigger" of the gun, and his lawyer, Luke Nikas of Quinn Emanuel, told PEOPLE in a statement that they will "fight these charges." However, a judge will ultimately decide whether to proceed with the case after a preliminary hearing.
