Therefore, you might need to search elsewhere if you want to download an audiobook directly from the Spotify iOS app. Reports claim that a new upgrade for the iOS app of the massive streaming service no longer permits its users to directly purchase audiobooks from it. The news source points out that when Spotify users use the app to buy an audiobook. They receive a fresh message instead. It states: "What shall I hear? In the app, audiobooks cannot be purchased." "We know, it's not perfect," it continues. The music streaming service does not offer its users any further means to obtain the audiobook they are attempting to purchase, according to reports, aside from this warning. So, the streaming service disabled the opportunity to purchase an audiobook from its app in light of the above. Instead, downloading the audiobook requires users of Spotify to go to the streaming service's website. But this time, the massive streaming service has altogether disabled the ability to buy audiobooks. Neither an email nor a website redirect is sent anymore. Users are only informed in the most recent version that "you can't buy audiobooks in the app."
