For a lot of music fans, the end of November is a unique time of year since that's when Spotify releases its annual Spotify Wrapped list, a data-derived deep dive into all the good, awful, and humiliating music we've been pumping into our earholes for the previous year, for better or worse. If you're a Spotify fan, you've probably already received the company's teaser email about this year's list, which typically arrives in the first week of December. But if you haven't, don't worry; we have all the information right here.

How does Spotify Wrap work?

Since 2016, the music streaming giant has been publishing its year-end Wrapped roundups, giving users fascinating and intriguing information on anything from the songs, albums, and podcasts they've listened to to the genres and artists. Beyond what you've been personally listening to, the Wrapped campaign also lists the most streamed and listened-to content on the service overall over the course of the year, offering a wealth of material for social media, artist bragging rights, and more. On mobile devices, using a web browser, and the Spotify desktop client, you may access your Wrapped list. Spotify

When the Spotify Wrapped 2022 list will be unveiled?

The release date of this year's list has not yet been made public by Spotify, but in years past it has typically fallen within the first week of December. The "Wrapped is Coming" message can be seen on the Spotify Wrapped website right now, and if you use Spotify, you've probably already received a teaser email for the 2022 list that includes a link to a list of your favorite tracks from the previous year.

Best way to use Spotify Wrapped is on a mobile device

You'll probably use your smartphone or tablet to browse the Spotify Wrapped lists once they become available for 2022 using the Spotify app. The 2022 Wrapped part will be immediately visible when you begin the app; they make it quite clear. Just do a search for it if you can't find it. Spotify If it's the same as previous years, turn the volume up and swipe through the entertaining, Instagram Stories-style shareable "cards" that detail all your algorithm-based top songs, artists, podcasts, listening stats, what you binged, and more. There's also some content in the Missed Hits section that you might not have discovered throughout the year, including a list of 30 songs the algorithm thinks you might like from the previous year. Following the Wrapped 2022 cards presentation, you'll have access to a seemingly limitless number of original playlists on the app as well as some cool supplementary features, like last year's Your Artists Revealed section, which includes songs and interviews from your favorite artists, and the Blend feature, which lets you ask another user to combine your best-of-the-year playlists—the good and the bad—into one 2022 playlist for you both. Browser or desktop application

If you don't have a Spotify subscription, you may still visit the Spotify Wrapped website using your web browser to see the overall statistics and best-of content for the nation. You won't be able to see the intriguing presentation of scrolling "cards," though. You can log in with your Spotify Premium account credentials and see what has caught your ear for 2022 if you are a subscriber. The card display has also not been available if you are using Spotify's desktop software to access the service. We'll have to wait to find out if it changes for 2022. The Wrapped 2022 playlists, groups, podcasts, genres, and much more that you can share on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and TikTok will nevertheless be available to you.
