Stunning GMC Sportback render blurs the lines between SUV and car

The graphic designer imagines what a custom Sportback might look like if GMC constructed one with the Acadia as inspiration and improves the aesthetic in a huge manner. The latest render on Instagram shows a modified GMC Acadia SUV moved into a fresh and sharp-looking body shape that screams performance mixed with usability. The Awesome Custom GMC Sportback Render The render takes an Acadia SUV as the base as @JLord8 claims that render of the larger Yukon SUV as a sedan or Sportback already exist and are freely available on the internet. In the animation on the Instagram post, you can see the Acadia morph from the classic 3-row crossover SUV that we know into a raised four-door sedan. The render keeps reasonably faithful to Acadia styling with a mostly unmodified front appearance, reduced body, and a prominent spoiler on the back of the vehicle. While other GM brands have gone out with all-wheel drive vehicles that are unique such as the Pontiac Vibe, Buick Regal TourX wagon, and Cadillac CTS wagon, GMC has never strayed from its usual offers of pickup trucks, SUVs, and large vans. The render blurs the line between SUV and car, combining the aerodynamic elements of a car with the raised platform of an SUV: with the success of vehicles like the Subaru Outback and Volvo's Cross Country lineup of all-wheel drive cars, it begs the question whether GMC might have success making a similar vehicle. Stylish Cars And Practicality: The Versatility Of Sportbacks Via: GMC The all-wheel drive Sportback body design is a fantastic compromise for customers who seek the superb handling, fuel efficiency, and driving dynamics of a sedan with the capabilities and payload space of an SUV. Currently, the flexible Sportback class contains just a few automobiles such as the Kia Stinger, Volkswagen Arteon, and Audi A5. All-wheel drive hatchbacks like the Subaru Impreza and Mazda 3 also offer this capability and strangely, this image of the GMC Sportback is comparable to the future Toyota Crown will offer in an all-wheel drive, elevated platform sedan.
