TCL Unveils Groundbreaking Smartphone with Innovative Paper-like Display Technology

Image credit : TCL TCL, renowned for its cutting-edge display technology, has set the stage ablaze by introducing the world's first smartphone featuring paper-like displays, TCL 40 NXTPAPER and TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G. This breakthrough innovation ushers in a new era of visual comfort and readability. TCL's new NXTPAPER smartphones have received TUV certification for minimal harmful blue light, ensuring a comfortable full-color paper-like viewing experience, perfect for avid readers. The NXTPAPER technology maintains the original color balance, offering uncompromised visuals. These devices also feature an anti-glare matte texture and are resistant to fingerprint smudges, enhancing usability. As for hardware, the TCL 40 NXTPAPER boasts a substantial 6.78-inch FHD+ screen, while the TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G offers a slightly smaller 6.6-inch HD+ display. Internally, the TCL 40 NXTPAPER integrates a MediaTek Helio G88 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage. In contrast, the 5G model is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor, coupled with 6GB RAM and 256GB internal memory. On the other hand, the TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G, with 5G connectivity, will be priced at €249 ($269) and will hit the European market in October. Global releases for both models are planned later in 2023.
