The number of weeks it will take to receive a Tesla Model Y has increased in Europe. As a result, customers will now have to wait a little longer. Is it a result of the automaker led by Elon Musk recently cutting prices? According to a recent report, Tesla recently extended the German delivery timelines for its Model Y EVs. Customers may have to wait longer to receive their new electric vehicle as a result. The Model Y rear-wheel drive, whose price was recently drastically reduced, is now anticipated to arrive at a much later time. It's important to remember that the Tesla website first said that the Model Y AWD deliveries take place between January and February. This demonstrates that Tesla customers will have to wait until next month for their EV deliveries. The new lengthier lead times are now also present in the Long Range and Performance. According to the website, the delivery date may fall between February and March. Shortly after the Musk-led company announced pricing reductions for the Model Y in Europe, the lengthier wait period was announced.

Has the price recently been reduced?

The tech giant recently reduced the cost of its electric vehicles in order to sustain sales levels across multiple geographies. The significant price reduction reverses the several price increases that the COVID-19 pandemic and the supply chain crisis brought about. Following a recent price reduction, consumers in China have recently experienced higher wait times for the Tesla Model Y. Because of this, it now takes a week longer to get a Model Y than it did before the price decrease, including the Long Range and Rear-wheel Drive models. Customers in China must therefore wait at least two to five weeks before receiving the Tesla EV. However, the Model 3 sedan's delivery wait time remained the same, as did that the Model Y's performance model, according to reports. Another relevant development is the arrival of the Tesla Model Y AWD with a 4680 Battery.
