A 12-year-old girl was discovered in a suitcase in Paris, strangled, with the digits 1 and 0 “placed” on her body, according to authorities. She also had her neck cut.
According to Fox News and the Independent, the unnamed French child’s wrists and feet were bound with tape, and she appeared to have died from asphyxiation.
Since then, at least four persons have been detained for interrogation in connection with the case, but no arrests have been made public.
According to the site, the girl’s parents in the French capital called the police when their daughter failed to arrive home after school on Friday.
According to the girl’s father, a building caretaker, he spotted his daughter with a lady in her 20s on building security camera tape. The woman then appeared on the footage carrying a suitcase. Police then discovered kidnapping evidence in the building’s basement.
Friday night at around 11:30 p.m., authorities were notified of a strange suitcase on Rue d’Hautpoul, a few streets distant from the family’s residence.
Police said the numbers “1” and “0” had been “placed” on the murdered child’s body with “a device.”
