The EPOS H6PRO Sports a Mature Look and Delivers Great Sound

Image Source: 9to5Toys Since breaking off from Sennheiser in 2020, Epos has built a name for itself by delivering high-quality gaming headsets that prioritize sound quality. The H6PRO (available on Amazon for $158.11) is the company's flagship wired gaming headset, combining premium acoustics with elegant aesthetics. Its pads are a little firm for comfortable usage with glasses, and the absence of wireless connectivity may be a deal breaker for some, but it's a good pick for outstanding music, clear communications, and a style that leaves gamer-chic on the cutting room floor.   The Epos H6PRO sits at the apex of the company’s wired headset line. It has a fashionable appearance and dual dynamic drivers tuned to deliver exceptional balance and detail for games, music, and movies. It’s available in both the closed-back version, as well as the open-back design for those who don't mind giving up isolation (and privacy) for a better soundstage. Priced at $179, the H6PRO delivers a pretty limited bundle. The headset comes with two braided cables: a shorter cable for connecting to controllers and smartphones, and a longer split cable for wrapping around the back of your gaming PC. Since there is a volume roller on the right earcup, there is no in-line volume control or microphone built into the cables.
