The first radio station ever driven by artificial intelligence (AI), RadioGPT, is now able to operate.
Amidst the rising popularity of AI-powered services like ChatGPT and Microsoft Bing, media company Futuri is now creating radio programming using AI technology.
In a press statement, Futuri says that "RadioGPT combines the strength of GPT-3 technology with the AI-driven targeted story discovery and social content system."
In addition, it makes use of "AI voice technology to provide an unmatched localized radio experience for any region, any format."

According to the media company, RadioGPT is the first "AI-driven localized broadcast content solution" ever developed. If AI technology is what's giving us chatbots right now, Futuri wants to test its capabilities by using it to operate a radio station.
The TopicPulse technology aids the AI-driven radio station in searching for popular news across a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter. From there, it compiles the information and subjects that are discussed the most.
There is more Intelligence technology available. It generates on-air scripts based on these trending subjects using the well-liked GPT-3 technology, which also powers ChatGPT.
The radio station uses AI voices to deliver the on-air script in a manner similar to that of radio DJs in order to make it entirely AI-driven.

Radio stations could train it to sound like the DJs on their existing roster, according to the reports. In addition, they could pick between having a single AI voice, a duo, or a trio hosting a radio program.
GPTRadio can fully operate a radio station, but it also has the ability to only be used for "individual dayparts."
Daniel Anstandig, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Futuri, discusses why the company's AI-powered radio station uses existing technology like GPT-3 and TopicPulse. The media company's big leader claims that they are "pioneers of AI in the broadcast industry.

Furthermore, reports claim that RadioGPT does more than just produce radio shows. In addition to producing radio content, it could produce blogs or social media messages that are published in real-time.
Therefore, the radio station could also use AI technology to work on its digital platforms rather than depending solely on a team.
