As the consumer audio industry began to imitate the AirPods, Jabra remained loyal to itself and refrained from adding stems to its headphones. With the Elite 75t series, Jabra had considerable success. Yet since then, the corporation has continued its spray-and-pray strategy. Its Elite lineup includes six pairs of virtually identical wireless earphones. The Jabra Elite 4 is the brand's newest set of Elite earphones. The active noise-canceling (ANC) earphones are reasonably priced, which is an uncommon combination. So are the Elite 4 earbuds truly elite, or has the phrase lost all significance, much like "pro"? Learn more in our review of the Jabra Elite 4.
Seven months after the September 2022 debut of the Jabra Elite 5, the company introduced the Elite 4 wireless earbuds on March 21, 2023. Before it, on the last day of August 2021, the Jabra Elite 3 went on sale.
The squat, free-standing Elite 4 case can accommodate these rounded triangle-shaped earphones. The case accepts USB-C for a cable recharge but does not support Qi wireless charging. The Elite 4 earphones are shielded from water and dust sprays with an IP55 certification. The Elite 3 and 5 have the same design and durability rating, however, the Elite 5 case adds wireless charging.

With its own EQ module, the Jabra MySound+ app for Android and iOS allows users to customize the sound. Together with EQ settings and the ability to change "HearThrough" intensity, Jabra also provides. In contrast to ANC, HearThrough actively allows noise in rather than canceling it out. The single Android-specific app feature is Spotify Tap. The left button is double-pressed to play a song from Spotify's suggested playlist.
The Elite 4 battery lasts five hours and thirty minutes with noise cancellation turned on. With ANC turned off, the earphones' battery life extends to seven hours. The case extends the playtime with ANC by 16 hours and 30 minutes. ANC may be turned off to extend the case's battery life by an additional 21 hours. The headphones and case are fully recharged in three hours and thirty minutes. The earphones can be fast-charged in an emergency. You may start listening to music for an hour after only 10 seconds in the case.
On Jabra's website, you may presently purchase the Elite 4. There are four color choices: Lilac, Dark Grey, Navy, and Light Beige.
