The Chinese gaming company Ayaneo has returned with a new handheld console that is designed to compete with the Asus ROG, the Nintendo Switch, and other gadgets of a similar nature. The upcoming Ayaneo 2S brings a number of significant enhancements to the table when compared to its predecessor, the Ayaneo 2. The vast majority of these enhancements are found beneath the hood, as this device already possesses a sufficient amount of horsepower to run AAA titles. It comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7000 processor that appears to be very similar to the one that is used in the Asus ROG Ally portable console that was previously unveiled. A Radeon 780M mobile graphics processor is included as part of the chipset as well. This is necessary because the gadget is equipped with a chip that is built to play modern games. During the course of the hour-long video presentation, the company also revealed that the handheld would include an enhanced fingerprint sensor, a display that was richer in color, trigger buttons that were less jarring, and a case that had been redesigned. There have also been reports that similar to a standard personal computer, you will be able to quickly replace the motherboard in order to boost the overall performance at a later time. In addition to that, it demonstrated the Ayaneo Geek 1S, which is a scaled-down counterpart of the 2S. Both consoles are scheduled to make their debut on Indiegogo by the end of this month, and they will formally go on sale in the middle of May. Shipment is expected to take place around the end of June. Also read: The ROG Ally from ASUS is yet another rival to Steam Deck. The Windows-mounted storefront that Ayaneo uses will, according to their commitment, undergo a comprehensive revamp in time for both releases. The business has not yet announced pricing for the 2S, but recent rumors suggest that the Asus ROG Ally, which will have comparable specifications, will be available for $700 when it is finally released.
