The new Yoga Pro 7 14 performed incredibly well in our in-depth examination. Lenovo provides a variety of 14-inch subnotebook configurations that let customers pick between AMD and Intel processors and a number of dedicated Nvidia GPUs (up to the brand-new RTX 4050 Laptop). We've looked at the entry-level model, which has an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, a matt 14.5-inch 2.5K IPS display, 16 GB of RAM, and the potent Radeon 680M iGPU. According to Lenovo's Campus Program, this specific model costs €999 (US$1,095), which is less than its RRP of €1,129 ($1,237). The Ryzen 7 7735HS continues to perform admirably despite not being the newest AMD CPU and still being built on the Zen 3+ cores from the previous year. The integrated graphics on Intel's latest Raptor Lake processors are especially much slower than the iGPU. The Yoga Pro 7 will eventually be available with AMD's latest Zen 4 CPUs, also known as Phoenix. Along with having excellent performance, the small laptop has a nice selection of features, including USB4. When sitting at a desk, you can use this to connect the Yoga Pro 7 to an external graphics card. There is a USB-A connector on the right side in addition to USB-C connectors, making it very handy to utilize older devices. It provides our eyes with excellent visual quality and a high contrast ratio. The display's maximum brightness is about 360 cd/m2, which is more than enough for indoor use but might be an issue in a very bright outdoor setting. The screen can reproduce colors and grayscale tones quite well after calibration. This, together with the complete sRGB coverage, ensures that the laptop is suitable for photo processing. A high refresh rate (90Hz) on the panel completes it, giving motion a much smoother appearance. Of course, you can wait for the Zen 4-based variant, however its price is anticipated to be higher. Additionally, Lenovo regularly runs sales on its online store, so it wouldn't surprise us if the new Pro 7 14 is soon available for less than €1,000 (US$1,103).
