The Xperia 1 V has a decent chance of appearing at the Sony Expo 2023 event, but many other items could take center stage in its place. It seems odd that Sony would invite fans from all over the world to attend the "fans night" event merely to see a new accessory, thus it seems likely that something significant will be unveiled—possibly the Xperia 1 V smartphone.
