The world's thinnest 14-inch laptop is now available from ASUS

There are many different shapes and sizes for laptops, but choosing a slimmer model typically means sacrificing performance and battery life. With a new MacBook Pro rival that it claims is the thinnest 14-inch laptop on the market, ASUS is looking to change that. Following a number of ExpertBook announcements from ASUS a few months ago, the ASUS ExpertBook B9 is officially on sale. With a thickness of 0.59 inches, ASUS claims that this particular laptop is the thinnest and lightest 14′′ laptop on the market right now (1.49 cm). It uses the vPro platform and is powered by Intel's 12th generation Core i7 processor, which is still quite respectable and makes it an excellent choice for business and mobile work. The official estimate for battery life is 16 hours, but bear in mind that manufacturer battery estimations are always based on idealized scenarios. 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD are also included. You can get the laptop right now on Amazon if you're interested. Although $1,840.85 from ASUS is a bit expensive for a laptop, it is standard for laptops from the likes of Apple's MacBook Pro lineup. Unless you're into gaming, it's unquestionably one of the best premium Windows laptops you can buy.
