Microsoft Prepare yourself for a new line of surface goods. The Fall 2022 event, which will “speak about gadgets,” was just Revealed by Microsoft. The firm will likely unveil the Surface Pro 9, which might eventually be available in both x86 and ARM variants.
The live broadcast will begin on October 12 at 10 a.m. ET. Microsoft still needs factual information, although the event’s banner offers some insight. It features a colorful Windows 11 background with the handwritten words “Save the Date” added on top of it (probably with a Surface Pen).
Again, we anticipate seeing the Surface Pro 9 on this occasion. Recent reports show this device will be available in x86 and ARM variants (via Liliputing). While the x86 variants rely on 12th-generation Intel Core CPUs, the ARM model uses a specially designed Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chipset (called Microsoft SQ3).
Microsoft will discontinue the Surface Pro X series if this story is accurate. Microsoft’s only Windows device that utilized the ARM architecture until this point was the Surface Pro X.
There are rumors that other products, such as the Surface Studio 3 and Surface Laptop 5, will be unveiled. Although Microsoft delivers a new Surface Laptop almost every year, and the Surface Studio is due for an upgrade, information on these items needs to be more explicit.
