The new update in Google Docs makes it easy to track down the location using the @ menu and add the address that needs to be included for adding the view of the overhead map in the document.
If you click on the chip in the Google Doc, it will take you directly to Google Maps, which gives you information on the destination in the side panel. In addition, navigation and information on the available time, closing time, busy hours, etc., are provided.
The new update is available for all Google Docs and Workspace users. It is a follow-up on the 2021 update, allowing users to paste a map link into Google Docs. This update is kept in mind to provide users with an experience that is collaborative all over.
To insert the chip in the Google Doc, go to:
- Smart Chips
- Place Within Google Document
Google says the software users can easily add table templates and dropdown chips in the docs to merge projects. With Dropdown Chips, Google Doc users can show the status of their document and add milestones achieved in the doc.
The new update makes adding emojis easy by allowing users to search and add symbols to your text. Users will need to type @ followed by the object, and an emoji menu pops up, or you can type “@” and “or” to see a list of emojis and navigate the entire content.
