A footage captures the moment a female suspect was placed in a police cruiser parked on train lines in Colorado when a locomotive struck the car, critically injuring her. Yareni Rios-Gonzalez, 20, was stopped by a Platteville police officer earlier this month in connection with a collision involving road rage and he stopped his car on the tracks at US 85 and County Road 38 to question her, according to KDVR. According to 9NEWS, Rios-Gonzalez allegedly drew a revolver on a motorist in Fort Lupton after she allegedly tailgated them in her truck and contacted 911 to report it. This led to the traffic stop. The suspect was seen by the Platteville officer in his area, and Fort Lupton police and Weld County sheriff's deputies looked for him, according to the news source. The Platteville officer was assisted by two Fort Lupton officers in conducting what they deemed to be a high-risk traffic stop, placing the woman in the back seat of the patrol car while they looked for a weapon. Oh my God!” a female officer is heard yelling. Seconds later, dashcam video shows the train slamming the police car and dragging it down the tracks. “Patrol car was just hit by a train,” the female cop says on the radio. “Send medical! The suspect was in the vehicle that was hit by the train!”
