Twitter Opens Blue Subscription to Japanese Users

Following the launch of Elon Musk's version of the Twitter Blue subscription service last month in five countries, including the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand,. According to Twitter's support page, Japanese users will be able to purchase the subscription for 980 ($7.40) per month on the web and 1,380 ($10.42) per month on iOS. The $8 monthly fee for the web and the $11 monthly fee for the iOS that are available in the US are slightly more than these prices. A thread reader, an edit tweet option, the blue verification badge, longer video uploads, priority ranking in discussion answers, and other features are all part of Twitter Blue's current feature set. It also has its own set of symbols and styles. The social network stated on its support page that it is "also piloting a new service called Twitter Blue for Business, which is a service for business entities on Twitter that gives a gold checkmark to official business accounts." When he came over, Musk had big plans for Twitter, including growing the user base to reduce dependency on ad revenue. He initially unveiled a new version of Twitter Blue in November but had to disable it due to users pretending to be famous people. Since then, the platform has worked to place limitations on the new verification method by requiring users to have a phone number in order to purchase the Blue subscription and by enforcing a 90-day cooling-off period for new accounts. Sen. Edward J. Markey's internet persona was successfully created last week by a Washington Post reporter. With the launch of the Blue service, some precautions are in place to keep the mayhem under control. Users must first accept the new version's updated terms in order to register. The relaunch now features a "lightly outlined review process" in addition to requiring a verified phone number. New accounts that are less than 90 days old are not allowed to subscribe, according to Twitter. Every time a person modifies their profile image, username, or display name, they unwittingly lose the coveted blue checkmark. But it is anticipated that it will return as soon as the modifications are authorised.
