The May 2023 security update for the Galaxy S20 series just recently began rolling out in Latin American nations. The update was also made available to US carrier-locked devices last week. The latest security update is currently accessible for US Galaxy S20 series unlocked devices.
Firmware version G98xU1UES4HWD5 is the new software update available in the US for the unlocked Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and
devices. Including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular Cellular South, Comcast, Cricket, C-Spire, Dish Wireless, Metro PCS, Sprint, Tracfone, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile, the update is accessible on all carrier networks. It includes the May 2023 security patch, which fixes more than 70 flaws in Galaxy phones’ security.
You can now look for the most recent software update on your unlocked Galaxy S20 series phone if you live in the US. Go to Settings » Software update and select Download and install to accomplish that.
