The Melgeek’s mechanical keyboard, Pixel, lets you place the keys and switches wherever you wish and allows you to swap easily anytime.
You can construct a new keyboard with the legos idling away at your home as the Lego studs are implanted at the side and bottom of the board. You can build a new set or include a group that is already there on the case. The keyboard comes with a tenkeyless design, unlike the standard keyboards, as it does not have a number pad.
Not just the case, as the board has studs below the keycap, you can create your own Lego Keycaps. In addition, the switches can be swapped, allowing you to remove the existing ones and replace them with the ones you wish to insert in their place.
Once you have customized your keyboard, you can plug it into your system or go wireless and play with the RGB lighting. Though the Pixel sale is not live yet, you can reserve your keyboard at $199 by paying a token amount of $1. Once the product is available, it will cost $269.
It is unclear what type of switches the board is coming with, but we will update you as soon as we get this information. Unfortunately, however, Pixel does not have an official license from Lego.
If you are bored with the standard keyboard, you should try Pixel board as it is unique and ever-changing!
