Walmart and Paramount are partnering to bring the digital giant Amazon Prime down.
Walmart Plus subscribers will soon be getting Paramount Plus Essential subscription at no extra cost. The best part about this deal is that the current Walmart subscription that costs $98 will remain the same even after adding the Paramount subscription to the package.
This move is to attract customers as Amazon Prime members are given exclusive deals, a host of shows and films, and other rewards. Walmart hopes to win subscribers through this deal. Walmart is offering more than a Paramount subscription. Like deliveries of your orders within a day or two with no minimum order and offers delivering free grocery with a minimum order of $35. However, there are some restrictions based on your location.
Walmart offers plenty of incentives like you get 10 cents off on a gallon of fuel across the US gas stations. And also the recent add-on, the free Paramount subscription.
Though Amazon does not offer a discount on gas, there are other exciting packages like GrubHub Plus, Prime Reading, Amazon Music, and Amazon Photos with unlimited storage.
Amazon Prime costs $139 annually, while Walmart Subscription is priced less at $98. As a result, Walmart will have to keep up with the popular online platform Amazon Prime without increasing the subscription fees.
