According to reports, Polestar has disclosed information on their 2024 Polestar 2 car.
The upcoming Polestar 2 has received a number of upgrades, which is really exciting. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) will be available on it for the first time in a brand model, giving the electric vehicle (EV) its greatest range to date.
The Polestar 2 made its debut as a 2021 model three years ago. Since then, its popularity has risen steadily. Although the business has produced Polestar 2 with a variety of powertrains and over-the-air technical upgrades, none of its EVs have yet to be delivered in rear-wheel drive configurations.

As of right now, an RWD Polestar 2 will be offered as a 2024 model. It will share certain design cues with the upcoming Polestar 3, which is also expected this year.
A new EV design language known as SmartZone will be included in the most recent Polestar 2. It is made up of numerous sensors that face ahead, a radar that faces forward, heating wires, ultrasonic sensors, and accelerometers that work together to function as a smart eye with ready-to-react safety technology.
On its front end, there will be a lot more as well. Due to the new batteries and revised powertrains, the three most recent Polestar 2 models will have improved performance.

The new motor will produce 299 horsepower instead of 231 horsepower. The time it takes to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph has decreased by 1.1 seconds to 5.9 seconds because of the new RWD setup.
The two Dual Motor versions of the Polestar 2 have a rebalanced configuration and torque ratio because they are likewise rear-wheel biassed. Customers should anticipate greater overall economy and improved torque, horsepower, and acceleration performance as a result.

Drivers will also have the option of disengaging the front motor when not in use, which will increase their drive's efficiency and range. The Dual Motor Polestar 2 will be able to go the same distance as the Single Motor version in 2023 thanks to this additional function.
The new RWD Single Motor Polestar 2 will also have a slightly larger battery pack, enabling an all-electric range of up to 300 miles.
Other amenities include a Harman Pardon premium sound system, Driver Awareness technologies, updated 20-inch forged alloy wheels in the Performance Pack, and a panoramic glass top.
The 2024 Polestar 2 is currently on the market, and deliveries are scheduled to start later this year.
