What the Future Holds For PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass

Image : Brendan Hesse The wait is over and it will be finally revealed what new games are awaiting Playstation Plus and Xbox Game Pass. Both these services have some big titles to offer for March 2023, which includes massive multiplayer shooters and action RPGs on PlayStation, and loads of day-one releases and exciting indies on Xbox. Heavy is the head that wears the crown and indeed the expectations are off the roof already with the announcements. PlayStation Plus’ March lineup starts strong with the large-scale competitive shooter Battlefield 2042, the dungeon-crawling Minecraft spin-off Minecraft Dungeons, and the anime soulslike action RPG Code Vein. Luckily, all three games are free for PS Plus subscribers at all membership levels and will remain in your collection as long as you are subscribed. Now if you are a PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium member, you can look forward to several new PS4 and PS5 games, such as Ghostwire Tokyo, the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection—which includes PS5 versions of Uncharted 4 and Uncharted Lost Legacy—and two Ubisoft-published games: Immortals: Fenyx Rising and Rainbow Six Extraction. PlayStation Plus Premium

Coming over to the Xbox Game Pass, the lineup is rather dismal. The Games With Gold freebies for Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold subscribers can get the point-and-click adventure game Trüberbrook and the World War II RTS Sudden Strike 4: European Battlefields Edition. Lastly, the indie survival horror game Lamentum will also join the GWG offerings on March 16. Thankfully, these games are free to download and remain in your library as long as you are subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold. Meanwhile, the Game Pass library has various new titles lined-up, including the highly anticipated action game Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, and the indie Way To The Woods.
