More third-party developers joining Wear OS 3 was a key component, and WhatsApp is currently beta-testing an app for the Pixel Watch, Galaxy Watch 5, and other devices.
The primary screen of the program opens with a straightforward list of recent contacts, followed by "Settings" (for personal information and Security notifications), and "Open on phone."
You can navigate through previous messages after starting a discussion, and you can record a voice message or use the system keypad to respond. You can see "People in this conversation" and another "Open on phone" by scrolling to the conclusion of group chats.

An eight-digit code from your watch must be entered on the phone app during setup.
With WhatsApp, you can see how many unread messages you have in a circular complication. Additionally, there are two tiles for "WhatsApp contacts" so you can rapidly access a contact, and "WhatsApp voice message" enables you to instantly begin an audio recording. This is a good example of first-party capabilities being embraced.
