Later, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) verified the deaths of two individuals, one of whom was declared dead at the site and the other of whom passed away at University Medical Center. Additionally, they verified that three of the six injured victims are in a serious state.
Tourists and four showgirls were victims.
According to two witnesses, four of the fatalities were showgirls, performers famous for posing for pictures with tourists along the Strip, according to the Daily Mail. One of them, who asserted that the showgirls are her employees, alleged that the offender approached the performers while posing as a chef. She claimed that after the showgirls declined to take a photo with him, he attacked the group.
As for Pierre Fandrich, another witness, he claimed that due to the amount of blood on the ground, he "thought a female fell from the bridge." He claimed that while trying to assist the woman who had fallen, one woman ran across a bridge, another was on the ground, and a third had been stabbed in the back.
He said that a witness gave CPR until the police arrived but added that they were unable to see the culprit since "everything occurred so fast." According to Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo, victims include both natives and tourists.
The Las Vegas Review-Brett Journal's Clarkson tweeted a raw video of one of the victims of a mass stabbing on the Las Vegas Strip being carried away by emergency personnel, which Fandrich also posted.
