Why Uber Customers Annoyed With Push Notification Ads?

Adding push notification ads to the platform is currently being tested by the Uber app. Users wanted this function to disappear, yet the corporation surprise displayed it without any justification. Gizmodo reported earlier this week that a number of iPhone customers are dissatisfied with the advertisements they see in their push notifications. According to several screenshots posted on Twitter, the Peloton app is featured in the adverts as part of an Uber app promotion.  Although a push notification advertisement is one approach for a business to advertise its goods or services, customers won't view it in the same manner. Uber hasn't yet provided all the information on the push notification ads, but it has already launched the first test to see how it works. Following Uber's announcement that it would flash adverts for Uber Eats, push notifications now contain commercials. The ride-sharing company was testing the waters at the time to determine if the advertisements might alter the preferences of the users. uber security breach Uber wants to use advertisements to promote businesses and strengthen its relationship with consumers, according to Mark Grether, general manager of the company's advertising section. As of now, users have disliked getting invasive ad notifications from the Uber app. Long-term, it will be advantageous to the business, but it won't mend relations with customers. You may turn off the notifications in Settings if you find this unpleasant, according to Gizmodo. Once you see "Offers," simply go to the Uber app and deactivate it.
