Will Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch support Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

As one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy, Kestis will continue to feel the pressure of having to elude the Empire's relentless pursuit. Due to challenging Force puzzles and, of course, furious lightsaber battle, we know this sequel will be darker than its predecessor while still straddling the Dark Souls and Metroidvania lines. Tomorrow marks the release of Survivor for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5, and PC. However, if you're a devoted Nintendo Switch player or haven't yet updated to a current-gen console, you might be wondering when you'll get to play the next chapter in the Star Wars Jedi saga. Here is all we currently know on the release date of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch. Will Nintendo Switch support Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will, regrettably, not be coming to the Switch. This is hardly surprising given that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order did not use the Switch in 2019. Even though the OLED variant of the Switch, which debuted in 2021, offered a modest improvement, it still lacks the raw power necessary to play a game like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Due to the Switch's technical restrictions, the new game would undoubtedly be limited in terms of performance. These kinds of games may be playable on the Nintendo Switch 2. Hope is all we have.

Will Xbox One or the PlayStation 4 have Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

The Switch is in the exact same situation as the PS4 and Xbox One. They just lack the processing capacity of their current-gen counterparts, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's developers at EA, Respawn, and Lucasfilm Games did not want the game to be constrained on last-gen consoles. Also Read: Disney Plus will debut hand-drawn Star Wars animation from Studio Ghibli The game's director, Stig Asmussen, has repeatedly stated that the development team didn't want to be restricted in any way by having to make adjustments to the game in order for it to run on older consoles. Instead, they wanted to improve it with bigger maps, more detail, more density, a wider variety of NPCs, and overall fidelity.
