  • Update Windows 11 to 22H2 by going to Settings and Windows Update and clicking Check For Updates if it is unavailable in your system, go to Microsoft’s Download Windows 11 webpage. With Windows 11 installation assistant you can get the update or through an ISO file.
  • Click Start to access the menu by adding frequently used apps and then click on All Apps, right-click on any app you wish to pin, and hit on Pin to Start.
  • Look for apps in the start menu that had to be put in the folder like Microsoft Office programs, utilities, photos, etc, and drag them one by one to a folder.
  • You can edit the folder's name by clicking on Edit Name and typing out another title and clicking outside the folder to register the new name.
  • If you wish to add more apps to the folder, drag and drop them into the folder.
  • If the apps are far to drag and drop into the folder, right-click on the app and hit Move To Front which moves it to an earlier spot on top.
  • Place the apps above each other so that they are next to each other in another folder and rename it.
  • You can rearrange the apps in the folder by dragging and dropping the feature by clicking a single app.
  • Once done, drag and drop the folders around the Start menu according to your use by right-clicking the folder and clicking on Move To Front.
  • To remove an app from the folder, click on the app and drag it outside and if all apps are removed from the folder, it gets deleted.
