Xi is not expected to Meet Putin or Modi at the summit, China says

Beijing: China's foreign minister declined to confirm whether President Xi Jinping would meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation regional security bloc summit. China refuse to meet Modi and Putin From September 15, the summit will be held in Uzbekistan. During a Tuesday news briefing, the foreign ministry was asked about Xi's plans. However, the Beijing-headquartered SCO comprises China, Russia, India, and Pakistan, as well as four central Asian countries -- Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. China President Xi Jinping is scheduled to visit Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in this week's state visit -- his first overseas trip since the Coronavirus pandemic.
