The recent Expert RAW update improved the astrophotography capabilities of the current-generation Galaxy S22 series, and now this rumor suggests that the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 200MP low-light shots should be something to look forward to.

Still, we have a lot of questions (and a lot of doubt) about how well this will actually work, and whether we can expect a smartphone camera sensor to produce acceptable full-resolution 200MP low-light photos.

In addition to the 200MP primary camera, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have 12MP ultrawide and dual 10MP telephoto cameras. Samsung is likely to include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, as well as up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage.
