In order to create a split-screen layout, open two or more windows: a browser window, an app, or a document.

Look in the upper-left corner of your first window for three colored dots: red, yellow, & green. These control the window.

The green dot displays two small "expand" arrows when hovered over.

When you hold down the green dot, a list of options appears: Enter full screen, Tile window to left of screen, & Tile window to right of screen.
