According to a recent study, a new AI will be created to search for and locate historical archaeological sites around the globe. It will be beneficial for specialists and academics to search for previously ignored areas. The AI will concentrate on analyzing satellite imagery as the basis for its search, after which it will assist in determining the alleged location in the Mesopotamian Floodplain. There are still a lot of places in the world to find that shed light on the past, despite the fact that human researchers in the past missed a lot of relics and locations. The team focuses on the Mesopotamian Floodplain, which is rich in ancient histories, particularly those that are still obscure to both scholars and the general public. Satellite photography will be one of the most crucial pieces of information used to help the researchers get a more comprehensive picture of the planet, particularly in the area they are focusing on. The study, according to the reports, includes both high-speed detections and the errors they might introduce as well as merging all of the data to give people a better perspective on the regions to investigate. AI has already been used in a number of technological advancements and applications, like Spotify and its music suggestions, ChatGPT from OpenAI, and others. The medical industry is well known for using technology to aid in its search for the next big drug to treat illnesses that are difficult to treat and to help doctors accurately diagnose patients. There are numerous applications where AI is widely used and greatly facilitates deep learning capabilities and resources to further enhance work. It is now used in archaeology, particularly to find previously overlooked or unprotected places that might be conserved and remembered for the future.
