Facebook Watch is a built-in Facebook feature, a video-demand service of Facebook. It allows its creator to upload short or long videos related to the content they curate on the topics like drama, comedy, fashion, beauty, tech news, gadgets news, Livestream, and many more.

The company says, “On Facebook Watch, you can discover videos and original shows on subjects like sports, news, beauty, food, and entertainment.” To watch these videos on your TV, you can download the Facebook Watch TV App or broadcast to a TV from the Facebook mobile app,” it added.

Facebook Watch was earlier available for Apple TV users. However, according to the reports, it has been discontinued for the Apple TV users as they have reported getting notifications on their devices like, “The Facebook Watch TV app is no longer available, but you can still find lots of videos on Facebook at www.facebook.com/watch.” the other users are having the same experience.

Since tvOS doesn’t have a web browser, there’s no different way to stream videos on Facebook Watch app on Apple TV, except by using AirPlay from another device, the report said late on Sunday.

Facebook launched its Watch app on Apple TV in 2017, after first rolling it on Samsung Smart TVs. However, the Apple TV users can still enjoy Watch app by casting Watch from their phones to Apple TV, but it is a bit difficult to do so.

However, there is no official explanation from Facebook to stop the streaming through its Facebook Watch app on Apple TV. In addition, Apple TV is still listed as one of the supported platforms for Facebook Watch.
