On the heels of that, Apple’s new interim updates for these operating systems all possess the .1 suffix. Therefore, the updates are HomePod 15.4.1, iOS 15.4.1, iPadOS 15.4.1, macOS 12.3.1, and watchOS 8.5.1. The new updates will enhance iPhones and iPads in certain areas, making adjustments to other devices.
For example, Apple updates iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 address an issue that caused high battery drain in standby mode. Also, the company has included details of new security patch updates in a support document.
Furthermore, watchOS 8.5.1 also comes with fixed bugs and security patch updates. However, Apple has not addressed the problem of fast charging regarding watchOS 8.5.
Similarly, users can now use Siri for HomeKit-enabled accessories with the HomePod 15.4.1. Moreover, macOS 12.3.1 features two significant bug fixes. The first issue was causing Bluetooth devices to disconnect from a Mac after playing audio through Beats headphones. The second issue was regarding the Thunderbolt or USB-C monitors not turning on when connected to a Mac Mini as an external monitor.
All Apple updates are now available globally for customers to download. However, the activation of watchOS 8.5.1 requires a paired iPhone.
