ASUS ROG Ally: Competitively priced Steam Deck gaming handhelds powered by AMD Zen 4 and RDNA 3 are coming shortly

Despite having an AMD Zen 4 and RDNA 3-based APU, the ASUS ROG Ally is also now anticipated to be priced at Steam Deck levels. Since ASUS teased the ROG Ally, a Windows gaming portable that was previously believed to be an April Fools' Day joke, only two weeks have passed. Later, Dave Lee and Linus Sebastian made a number of ROG Ally information public using pre-production models, with ASUS marketing the product as an enhanced Steam Deck. The Phawx reports that ASUS is now aiming for a US$650-US$700 launch pricing rather than the up to US$800 that was previously anticipated. In other words, it appears that ASUS intends to price the device competitively with the most costly Steam Deck setup while undercutting comparable Windows gaming handhelds like the GPD Win 4 and AYA NEO 2.
