After failing to "fall in love with" her $12 million Calabasas house,
Britney Spears is apparently preparing to sell it. The gigantic 11,650 square-foot property cost the 41-year-old singer and her husband Sam Asghari $11.8 million when they bought it back in June.
Additionally, the six-bedroom house, which Justin and Hailey Bieber formerly owned and is located in the same neighborhood as her ex Kevin Federline, has a wine cellar and a theatre room. The property also has a relaxing pool and is decorated with elaborate chandeliers and furniture.
Furthermore, Britney is reportedly hoping to sell the property this year since she "hasn't fallen in love with the new home," according to sources close to her. In addition, the insiders told
TMZ that the celebrity needs to adore her new house after living in conservatorship for 13 years.

Moreover, Britney will still have her opulent Thousand Oaks property to fall back on while she looks for a new place, which she bought for $7.5 million back in 2015. However, it's unknown whether the pop icon will begin looking for a new mansion or if she'll just go back to Thousand Oaks.
What's more
The news that Britney Spears selling her home comes on the heels of Sam Asghari being compelled to deny speculations that he "controls" his wife on social media. After a series of unsettling uploads, the 28-year-old model has been accused by fans with being in charge of Britney's social media posts.

As a result, the hashtag #WhereIsBritney has been used by her fans to express their worries for her safety as their fear for her well-being has grown. However, Sam has since denied being domineering toward his wife after being questioned about it by
TMZ.
He stated, "No, I don’t even control what we have for dinner," adding, "You know, in the past, there has been a lot of stuff going on, so I understand where [fans are] coming from. They're just being protective. If anything, they're being good fans."
Additionally, Sam previously addressed Britney's lack of social media posts on Instagram: "Sometimes it’s good to take a break. She has her voice and is a free woman," adding, "I have respect for her privacy and I protect it at all times. Thank you to all of her protective fans."
