The next-generation display is probably being mass-produced by ChinaStar for a local client; the smartphone in question may be the Xiaomi 14, given it presently has the record for having the smallest bezels. It is challenging to understand how the manufacturer will accomplish this with a bezel that is an unnatural 1mm in thickness. It is strange the first time you hear the moniker "ChinaStar," but TCL truly owns this display maker. TCL displayed a tablet prototype at CES 2023 with a 94 percent screen-to-body ratio.
