source: KLTV Cruise, the autonomous vehicle company owned by General Motors, has issued a recall of 300 of its robotaxis after one of them crashed into a city bus. The incident occurred in downtown San Francisco, and resulted in no injuries. However, Cruise has taken the incident seriously and is working to update the software on its vehicles to prevent similar accidents in the future. According to Cruise, the crash occurred when the robotaxi attempted to change lanes and collided with the city bus. The company has stated that the cause of the accident was a software issue, and has since updated the software to prevent the same problem from occurring again. As part of the recall, Cruise is asking all of its customers who have received the affected robotaxis to bring them in for a software update. The company has also stated that it will be conducting additional testing to ensure that the issue has been fully resolved.
